Does Bounce Rate Matter for an Affiliate Niche Site?
Does bounce rate matter for an affiliate niche website? That's a good question. Honestly, people spend way too much time obsessing over this. I don't believe it matters if you have a 10% bounce rate or a 90% bounce rate. I think this way because what is the goal of an affiliate site? You want to attract an audience and then send that audience to a product page. It doesn't matter how long that visitor is on your site, or how many articles they read. If they click your link, you won! I'm not 100% this is true for an ad site too. But I think it is. Sure, you get money per impression, and in theory, you should get more money if the visitor views more pages but I don't think so. I think you're paid based on unique visitors and if the same person sees the same ad I think there is a way for Google to tell. Plus the money per impression is tiny. The visitor clicking an ad is where the money is at. I hope I've explained this well.
