What's up guys? Welcome back to my channel, Tortoise Cash Flow. So this is the month 9 update from my MIGA website, which is probably going to be a really short video. Not a whole lot to report. The website is not doing very good. It has grown from the previous month, which is good. It is growing. So, I mean, it's not, I mean, can you really say it's a failed website? We're taking a break from the website, just because I'm not sure what I want to do

and it's pretty pitiful. We've ran into a few hiccups. We had Pinterest at the beginning

where we copied the snippet optimized paragraph, graph and the pins were doing pretty good they were ranking and some of them were

actually winning the snippet coming in all the way at the top but they were it

wasn't even bringing me any traffic to my website so and my website was not

ranking very good I think because Google was seeing my pins and my articles as duplicate content and ranking my pins and just ignoring my website altogether So I deleted my Pinterest and it seemed

like we had a nice little spike in traffic for a bit. It's kind of settling down a little bit

We still have a whole lot of articles that aren't even ranking yet on Google, so still a ways to go

but overall, I think it was a good idea to delete Pinterest, but the website still needs some work

So let's take a look at how the website did last month

So looking at the ytics, it looks like it did have a 53% increase, which looks really good

but it went from 39 to 60, which is a 53% increase, but with those low numbers, it's really not that crazy

So it's like 20 more views. Taking a look at the search console, though, it does look like the site is starting to pick up pretty good

actually the last day of the month, July 31, it's actually had the most impressions that it's had the whole year

So it does look like it's starting to take off quite a bit, but it's, I mean, by month nine, my main website was bringing in over 10,000 views per month

So compared to that website, this does look pretty pitiful. In the grand scheme of things the website is growing I mean it could be successful or it could be a failure It hard to tell at this point but the website does continue to grow month over month I going to just continue letting it sit and not really add any content to it for a while I got other websites that I can put my time and money into to continue growing This website I not too certain if it going to be a success or failure so I don want to keep pumping more money into it until I see I like to

declining me for what they call thin content so with this website i added quite a few articles

success with doing shorter content. So that's what I tried. But now I'm starting to think that adding short content

on a new website is probably a bad idea. You probably want to have at least 30 to 50 articles on the site

be approved for AdSense, and have ads and everything going on your website before adding short content Otherwise you running to the issue that I having where Google just thinks your website is garbage

So what my plans would be going forward if I can get this website to start picking up a little bit

is to have my writer add probably 500 to 1,000 words on some of my older articles

and any article that's less than 1,000 words, get that over that, try to get my average word count for my website to at least 1500 words
